Brother Printer troubleshooting

v Check
that your Brother printer gets enough power supply
v Ensure
whether you’ve installed the toner cartridge properly
v Make

v Press
“Windows” and “R” key to yield the “Run” dialog box
v Enter
“Control” in the dialog box and click “OK”
v Select
the “Hardware and Sound” setting and click “Printers” section

whether the “Use Printer Offline” option is disabled
What if there is a paper jam issue?
v Ensure
that you’ve loaded a new stack of paper into the tray
v Check
whether the paper you’ve placed is straight. If not, straighten it.
v You
might have loaded more than the allowed paper limit. Remove some amount of
paper and then try printing
v Make sure you’ve not chosen the
“Manual Feed mode” in the Brother printer driver

v Extract
the paper tray completely out of your Brother printer
v Gently
pull out the jammed paper from the tray
v Insert
the paper tray back on to the printer
v Select
“Mono Start” or “Color Start” to start printing
Paper Jam in the Output tray
v Lift
and Open the Scanner with the help of both hands
v Remove
the paper by pressing down the “Green lever”
v Close
the scanner
